A filthy campaign
I mean, how hard is it to keep a hospital clean? Too difficult for Michael Howard, apparently.
Today's Guardian reports:
Ooh Matron!Michael Howard suffered every politician's nightmare yesterday. Having staged a press conference to denounce two pernicious superbugs - Tony Blair and MRSA in hospitals - he visited a London hospital and broke a basic hygiene rule, forgetting to wash his hands before greeting a patient. He later said he was "mortified".
